Ingredients

For the cake:

  • 1 pack of our Chocolate Cake Mix

  • ¾ cup milk

  • ½ cup oil

  • 3 eggs
(You can also prepare the cake using a vegan method as indicated on the product label.)

For the peanut butter sauce:

  • 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

  • ½ cup milk

Optional toppings:

  • Whipped cream

  • Chocolate chips or chocolate shavings

  • Crushed nuts (like peanuts or walnuts)

Instructions

Bake the cake:
Prepare the chocolate cake according to the instructions on the package. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake as directed. Let the cake cool slightly while you prepare the peanut butter sauce.

Poke holes in the cake:
Using the back of a wooden spoon or a skewer, poke small holes across the surface of the cake (without going all the way to the bottom) to allow the sauce to soak in.

Make the sauce:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, and milk until smooth and creamy.

Pour the sauce over the cake:
Gently pour the sauce over the warm cake, letting it seep into the holes and cover the top. Use a spoon or spatula to spread it evenly if needed.

Chill the cake (optional):
For the best texture and flavor, cover the cake and refrigerate for 1–2 hours so the flavors can soak in. Or serve it warm for a soft and cozy experience.

Decorate and serve:
Top the cake with your favorite toppings—whipped cream, chocolate, or crushed nuts. Slice and enjoy!
