With the approaching season of Autumn; the atmosphere begins to refresh and spread the fragrant warm colors and delicious flavours in the air. One of the tastiest flavours associated with Autumn is the flavour of cinnamon. This charming spice gives a warm and comfort for any meal.
We share a delicious and easy-to-prepare recipe using a gluten-free Pancake Mix which is free of nuts and suitable for celiac patients.
Ingredients (to prepare ½ of the bag):
- 1 cup of Pancake Mix from Treat Me Gluten Free
- 1 cup of milk (non-dairy milk can be used)
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
- Oil to grease the pan
To prepare the cinnamon mixture:
- ¼ cup butter (melted)
- 5 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
To prepare the cheese mixture:
- ¼ cup butter (room temperature)
- 55 grams cream cheese (room temperature)
- ¾ powder sugar
- ½ teaspoon liquid vanilla
Preparation Method:
- Preheat the oven to 160 ° C.
- Prepare the pancake mix according to the steps mentioned on the label. Keep some batter clots in the mixture. Then leave the mixture aside.
- Prepare the cinnamon mixture by mixing all the ingredients together.
- Pour the pancake mixture into the oiled pan, then pour the cinnamon mixture on it and swirl it within the pancake mixture
- Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes
- Meanwhile; prepare the cheese sauce mix by mixing the ingredients together
- Remove the Pancake pan from the oven spread the cheese sauce on the top while it is hot, then serve it warm

The remaining cheese sauce in the refrigerator can be stored in a tightly closed glass jar and used within days
